{"id":3148,"date":"2022-10-11T17:17:35","date_gmt":"2022-10-11T17:17:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.priorclave.com\/en\/?p=3148"},"modified":"2022-10-11T17:18:41","modified_gmt":"2022-10-11T17:18:41","slug":"see-you-at-medlab-africa-2022","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.priorclave.com\/en\/2022\/10\/11\/see-you-at-medlab-africa-2022\/","title":{"rendered":"See You at MedLab Africa 2022!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">After a two-year hiatus,<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.africahealthexhibition.com\/en\/home.html\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Medlab Africa<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> will be returning to a fully live in-person format this year\u2014and Priorclave will be there!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Launched in 2019 to create a platform for discussions around Afrocentric laboratory issues, MedLab Africa is an ideal environment for medical and research equipment and device professionals to connect and engage.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">As Ryan Sanderson, Africa Health and Medlab Africa\u2019s Exhibition Director, explained back in 2019: \u201cThe power of an event like [this] is that it brings the entire healthcare ecosystem together. Launching Medlab Africa alongside Africa Health is a very welcomed step to bringing healthcare and diagnostic professionals closer together in an environment that can only improve patient outcomes across Sub-Saharan Africa.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.priorclave.com\/en\/homepage\/africa\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Priorclave Limited<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> is extremely excited to once again be attending such events in person. \u201cWe haven\u2019t done this in so long,&#8221; notes Priorclave&#8217;s Export Manager, Josh Walker, &#8220;we really don\u2019t know what to expect. But we\u2019re pretty optimistic. As we communicate with our existing Africa dealers, we&#8217;re seeing so many opportunities to support medical and research professionals throughout this region. We\u2019re really interested in investing into Africa with training, technical support, and expertise.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Providing the Right Autoclave for Africa\u00a0<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Over the last several years, Priorclave has noted a distressing trend. Equipment manufacturers seem to be dumping low-cost\/low-quality sterilizers into the African market and offering little ongoing technical support.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Priorclave&#8217;s approach is different. As a customer-focused company, Priorclave partners with local dealers\u2014like<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.basan.co.za\/\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Basan<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u2014to offer a &#8220;hybrid support&#8221; model for their customers.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Josh Walker explains, &#8220;Our Priorclave-trained Africa dealers play a hugely important role, supporting customers in the region so they can keep up their important work. We really look forward to meeting new dealers in Africa in October, in addition to talking to end users about the most affordable and robust sterilization options for their labs and clinics.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Priorclave&#8217;s service manager will be with them at Medlab Africa, offering training for new distributors and discussing the challenges and approaches to autoclave use and maintenance throughout the continent.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Medlab Africa 2022 will be at the Gallagher Convention Centre in Johannesburg, South Africa, this October 26 through 28.
